(St. John’s, NL), April 28, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are confirming that 26-year-old Corey EVANS of Mount Pearl is in custody following a warrant being issued for his arrest related to robbery and firearms offences.

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at approximately 11:00 am, the RNC was informed that Corey EVANS of Mount Pearl had turned himself in at Provincial Court in St. John’s in relation to the warrant for his arrest. The warrant of arrest has been executed, and EVANS remains in custody awaiting a court appearance

The RNC continues to investigate the event which occurred on April 25, 2022, shortly before 3:00 pm on Petty Harbour Road involving a stolen vehicle and firearms offences.
