UPDATE – RNC Release Photos of Suspect Vehicle in Armed Robberies

(St. John’s, NL), April 5, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) have obtained photographs of a vehicle believed to be involved in armed robberies which occurred in the metro region last week.

Investigators with the RNC GIU believe there to be a link between three armed robberies, which occurred at service stations in St. John’s in the early hours of April 1, 2021. As the investigation progresses, investigators request the community review the photographs of the vehicle believed to be involved in the incidents, and provide any information that may assist in locating the vehicle. The suspect vehicle appears to be a 2014-2018 four-door Kia Forte sedan, equipped with HID headlights.

Investigators ask that anyone with information, or with CCTV, cell phone or dash camera footage in the area of these incidents, please contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
