The RNC Celebrates Police Week

(St. John’s, NL) May 13, 2024 – As the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) celebrates police week it is saluting its over 400 officers throughout the province who handle their demanding and sometimes dangerous roles with professionalism, selflessness, and pride.

National Police Week takes place from May 12 to 18 and this year’s theme, “Committed to Serve”, speaks to the dedication of police officers who are on duty around the clock, ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities.

The RNC has worked hard to build relationships and develop a policing standard that the communities we serve can rely on.

Working with other police services, first responders, social and community organizations, we remain committed to ensuring our province remains one of the safest in which to live and raise our families.

This police week the RNC is #CommittedToServe Newfoundland and Labrador to ensure a better and safer future for all.
