RNC Traffic Stop Results in Arrest on West Coast

(St. John’s, NL), September 27, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook region conducted a traffic safety stop which resulted in an arrest on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, September 26, 2021, at approximately 4:55 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) in the Corner Brook region conducted a traffic safety stop in the Irishtown-Summerside area after observing a traffic violation. As a result, officers determined the passenger of the vehicle had a warrant in effect for their arrest.

The 32-year-old male from Corner Brook was arrested without incident, and was additionally charged with breach of court orders. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
