RNC to Host “Lace Up For MADD”

(St. John’s, NL), November 17, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is excited to partner with MADD for this year’s Red Ribbon Campaign.

On Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 am the RNC will host MADD Canada for the launch to their 2017 Red Ribbon Campaign by “lacing up for MADD.” This year marks the 30th anniversary of MADD Canada’s iconic red ribbon, which symbolizes the innocent victims and survivors of impaired driving and the importance of always driving sober.

Starting on Monday and through January 7, 2018, officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary will be wearing red laces as a reminder to the public of our commitment to making the roads safer.
