RNC Seize Vehicle In Paradise Overnight

(St. John’s, NL), August 31, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) issued a driver’s license suspension and seized a vehicle in Paradise overnight.

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at approximately 12:50 am, RNC OPS observed a vehicle fail to comply with a traffic light on Topsail Road at Carlisle Drive in Paradise. The patrol officer conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle on Topsail Road.

As a result of the investigation following the traffic stop, a 28-year-old male from Paradise was issued a seven-day driver’s license suspension in relation to impairment while operating a motor vehicle. His vehicle was seized and impounded from the scene.
