RNC Seize Vehicle Following Traffic Stop in Paradise

(St. John’s, NL), March 23, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) seized a vehicle following a traffic safety stop in Paradise on Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 1:30 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) conducted a traffic safety stop with a vehicle in the area of Carlisle Drive in Paradise. The investigating officer subsequently determined that the vehicle was not registered, and being operated without an insurance policy.

As a result of the investigation, the 66-year-old male from Paradise who was operating the vehicle was issued summary offence tickets for Highway Traffic Act offences, and the vehicle was seized from the scene.
