RNC Searching for Wanted Person – Gerald CONNOLLY (1982-11-21)

(St. John’s, NL), December 14, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) are searching for a wanted person in connection with intimate partner violence in St. John’s.

On December 9, 2021, the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a request for police assistance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a female in distress outside of the home. The female was transported to a hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Responding officers determined a male had fled the area upon police arrival.

As a result of the investigation in to the event, 39-year-old Gerald CONNOLLY of St. John’s is wanted on charges of assault, assault causing bodily harm, choking, and forcible confinement. The accused is believed to be in the Northeast Avalon region.
