RNC Response to Downtown Disturbance Results in Arrest

(St. John’s, NL), March 28, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest following response to a disturbance in the downtown area of St. John’s last night.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 8:30 pm, the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) responded to a report of a disturbance in the downtown area of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a female believed to be responsible for causing a disturbance in a residential area of downtown St. John’s.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, the 31-year-old female was placed under arrest and charged with causing a disturbance and mischief. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
