RNC Response to Disturbance Results in Arrest in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), September 7, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a disturbance in St. John’s last night, resulting in an arrest.

On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at approximately 9:40 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. On arrival officers located several individuals on the property who were believed to be involved in disturbance.

As a result of the investigation in to the event, a 69-year-old male from St. John’s was charged with assault. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
