(Corner Brook, NL), April 11, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest after responding to a disturbance in Corner Brook yesterday afternoon.

On Monday, April 10, 2023, at approximately 3:30 pm, the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Central Street in Corner Brook. Responding officers determined a physical altercation had occurred in the area involving two males.

As a result of an investigation into the event, the 20-year-old male from Corner Brook was charged with assault. The accused was released on conditions to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
