RNC Respond to Robbery in CBS

(Conception Bay South, NL), January 13, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) is investigating an armed robbery, which occurred overnight in Conception Bay South (CBS).

A approximately 12:45 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Operational Patrol Services responded to an armed robbery at a service station on CBS Highway in CBS. A man entered the business and approached the service counter stating he was armed with a weapon, demanding cash. The suspect obtained cash, then fled the area in a vehicle.

The man responsible for this robbery is described to be five feet and nine inches tall, approximately 30 years old, with brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket with black jeans at the time of the offence. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark coloured sedan.
