RNC Respond to Home Invasion in the West End of St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), August 18, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) have requested a warrant for the arrest of a St. John’s man following an overnight disturbance in St. John’s.

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, just after 10:00 pm, RNC OPS, Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and Police Dog Services (PDS) responded to a report of a break and enter and weapons offence at a residence in the west end of St. John’s. On arrival, responding officers located a woman who had sustained non-life threatening injuries. Officers also located a weapon believed to be involved in the disturbance.

As a result of an investigation, a warrant has been requested for the arrest of a 26-year-old man from St. John’s for break and enter, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and a breach of court order.
