RNC Request Assistance With Collision Investigation

(St. John’s, NL), September 7, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Accident Investigation (AI) are requesting the assistance of the community in relation to a collision in Torbay.

On Friday, September 3, 2021, at approximately 3:00 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Evenings Path in Torbay. Responding officers were informed that a blue sedan and a motorcycle had collided in the area of Texas Place. The operator of the motorcycle was being treated by paramedics on scene for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are requesting any CCTV, dash camera or cell phone footage in the area around the time of the collision. Anybody with information to assist the investigation is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000.
