RNC Request Assistance With Break and Enter Investigation

(St. John’s, NL), July 29, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are investigating two incidents of break and enter, which occurred in the center city area of St. John’s.

The RNC is investigating a pair of incidents of break and enter which occurred on the evening of July 10, 2021, around 8:00 pm. Both incidents involved forced entry in to businesses located in the center city area of St. John’s. Investigators are requesting assistance from the community with identifying the suspect captured on surveillance footage at the location of the incidents.

The suspect is a man with a slender build, wearing a blue hoodie, light coloured cargo shorts, dark sneakers and a dark camo design ball cap.

Investigators ask that anyone with information, or with CCTV or dash camera footage in the area of this incident, please contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
