RNC Request Assistance In Connection With Robbery

(St. John’s, NL), March 18, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are requesting assistance from the community in relation to a robbery in St. John’s.

On Friday, March 4, 2022, at approximately 9:20 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS) responded to a report of a robbery at Ultramar on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s.

Upon arrival it was determined that a male had entered the store carrying a food delivery bag. The male then presented a weapon to the store employee and demanded cash and products.

The male fled the area driving a grey Honda Civic prior to police arrival.

The RNC General Investigations Unit are asking that anyone who recognizes the suspect in the photo attached, or anyone with information, or anyone with dash camera or CCTV footage, in the area around the time of the incident contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
