RNC Release Video of Break and Entry

(St. John’s, NL), November 6, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the pair responsible for two break and entries at a clothing store.

The RNC General Investigative Unit is investigating two separate break and entries at Arthur James (located inside of Coleman’s Groceries) on Newfoundland Drive. The first break and enter occurred on Monday, October 29, 2018 at approximately 1:00 am. A second break in by the same individuals occurred 3 days later on November 2, 2018 at approximately 2:00 am. In both cases, a female driver and a male passenger can be seen backing into the building near a window, using a tool to smash the window out, and entering the store and exiting with a high value of sportswear and outerwear.

The woman and man used a newer model black Jeep in the commission of both break and entries. Both suspects concealed their faces during the crime.

The General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate these break and entries and is asking anyone who has information to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at: www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
