RNC Release Photos from Armed Robbery

(St. John’s, NL), February 7, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery a service station.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, just before 1:30am, officers with RNC’s Operational Patrol Services Division, including Police Dog Services as well as Forensic Identification Services, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Ultramar located at 15 Waldegrave Street in downtown St. John’s. An unknown male entered the business armed with a weapon and demanded cash.

The male suspect fled the area prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash. The approximately 28-33 year old male suspect is described as having a skinny build and being between 5’4” – 5’6” and 180lbs.
