RNC Release Photo of Robbery Suspect

(St. John’s, NL), October 28, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are asking for the assistance of the community with identifying the suspect of an armed robbery in St. John’s.

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, at approximately 10:40 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Police Dog Service (PDS) responded to a convenience store in the Airport Heights area of St. John’s in relation to a report that a robbery had just occurred. A suspect had entered the store and approached the cashier presenting a weapon and demanding money. The suspect obtained some cash, then exited the store and fled the area.

The suspect was male and stood approximately six feet tall. He wore a mask with camouflage pattern, grey NY Yankees ball hat, red and black jacket, and carried a red and black backpack. He also had a tattoo on his left cheek.
