RNC Promoting Safe Roads In Churchill Falls

(Churchill Falls, NL), April 1, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) conducted a traffic safety initiative in the Churchill Falls region.

In March, 2022, the RNC conducted a traffic safety initiative in the Town of Churchill Falls. The purpose of this initiative was to ensure that: drivers were not impaired by alcohol and/or drug(s), drivers possessed a valid driver’s license, and that vehicles were registered and insured.

During this initiative, 74 traffic safety stops were conducted, 16 drivers were given warnings, and 11 Summary Offence Tickets were issued. No impaired drivers were detected.

The RNC wishes to thank the residents of Churchill Falls, and those working on site, for their commitment to safety of our roadways.
