(St. John’s, NL), August 26, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) conducted a traffic stop yesterday resulting in a vehicle seizure.

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, shortly after 2:00 pm, RNC OPS conducted a traffic safety stop with a motorcycle in the Bay Bulls Road area of St. John’s. The patrol officer determined that the operator did not have a valid driver’s license, and was operating the vehicle without and insurance policy.

The operator of the vehicle, a 49-year-old man from Paradise, received summary offence tickets in relation to the Highway Traffic Act infractions, and the motorcycle was seized and impounded from the scene.
