(St. John’s, NL), September 2, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) issue a ticket and seize a vehicle following a traffic stop in Mount Pearl yesterday.

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at approximately 4:10 pm, RNC OPS conducted a traffic safety stop in the Barbour Drive area of Mount Pearl. The patrol officers determined that vehicle was being operated without an insurance policy.

As a result of the traffic stop, the 26-year-old operator of the vehicle was issued a summary offence ticket for operating a motor vehicle without an insurance policy. The vehicle was seized and impounded from the scene.
