(St. John’s, NL), March 28, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services Division located a wanted person during their patrols of the community last night.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 8:35 pm, the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) observed a male and female in a verbal confrontation in center-city St. John’s. Officers identified the individuals, and determined the female was wanted in connection with a recent theft in St. John’s.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, the 30-year-old female from St. John’s was placed under arrest in connection with the warrant for her arrest. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
