(St. John’s, NL), June 17, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run in aid of Special Olympics today. These torch run events will be ongoing throughout the province during the timeframe of June 11 to July 5, 2022.

The St. John’s 5K run will take place this afternoon. The 5K Fun Run will start at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Headquarters (RCMP HQ), East White Hills Road St. John’s, NL. The run/walk will then proceed to Quidi Vidi Lake, around the lake and back to RCMP HQ.

The RNC is proud to be among the law enforcement agencies across Newfoundland and Labrador supporting Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
