RNC Members Recognized for Exemplary Service

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) May 17, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is recognizing nine of its members with the issuing of the Police Exemplary Service Awards.  These awards will be presented to four officers for 30 years of Exemplary Service and five officers for 20 years of Exemplary Service.

The Police Exemplary Service Awards will be presented by Her Honour, The Honourable Judy M. Foote, P.C., O.N.L., Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Chief of Police Joseph A. Boland, M.O.M..

The presentation will commence today at Government House at 2:00 PM. A reception for invited guests will follow the presentations.

Police Officers across Canada receive the Police Exemplary Service Medal in recognition of 20 years of meritorious service and Police Exemplary Service Bars in recognition of 30 and 40 years of meritorious service.  The RNC would like to congratulate these members on receiving this award.
