RNC Make Arrest Related to Graffiti in Downtown St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), April 10, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest in connection with property damage related to graffiti in the downtown area of St. John’s yesterday.

On Sunday, April 9, 2023, at approximately 12:10 pm, the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) responded to a report of a female spray painting on private property in the downtown area of St. John’s. Responding officers successfully located the suspect, placing her under arrest in the area of Long’s Hill.

As a result of an investigation into the event, the 73-year-old female from St. John’s was charged with property damage related to the graffiti. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
