RNC Make Arrest in East End Theft

(St. John’s, NL), October 22, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a female following a theft in St. John’s.

On Thursday, October 21, 2021, at approximately 8:30 pm, officers with the RNC OPS responded to a theft in progress at a grocery store in the east end of St. John’s. On arrival, responding officers located the suspect inside the business, at which time the individual was placed under arrest.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 47-year-old female from St. John’s was charged with theft and failure to comply with a court order. The female was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
