RNC Make Arrest in Break and Enter Investigations

(St. John’s, NL), September 15, 2020 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) have made an arrest in connection with multiple break and enter investigations.

Spanning from late August up to September 14, 2020, the RNC have responded to multiple incidents of break and enter in the downtown area of St. John’s. Subsequent investigations carried out by the RNC General Investigation Unit led investigators to identify a 43-year-old man from St. John’s to be responsible for several of these incidents.

On Monday, September 14, 2020, shortly after 1:00 pm, members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division located this 43-year-old man in the downtown area of St. John’s. The man was arrested without incident and held to appear in provincial court.

The 43-year-old man of St. John’s has been charged with three counts of break and enter, robbery, and multiple court order breaches.
