RNC Make Arrest For Breach Of Court Orders

(St. John’s, NL), August 19, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a man for breaching court orders last night in downtown St. John’s.

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at approximately 10:50 pm, officers with RNC OPS responded to a request for police assistance in the Duckworth Street area of St. John’s. Reports indicated a possible disturbance in progress. Responding officers located a male and female in the area.

As a result of an investigation stemming from the request for police assistance, officers arrested a 23-year-old man from St. John’s who was charged with breaching court orders. The man was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
