RNC Make Arrest Following Report of Threats

(St. John’s, NL), November 10, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) made an arrest following a report of threats last night.

On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at approximately 8:30 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a reports of uttering threats in the Cape St. Francis area. Responding officers received information that a male had received threats to cause harm from an individual known to them.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 58-year-old male from Pouch Cove was charged with uttering threats. The accused was released on conditions to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
