RNC Make Arrest Following Internet Luring Investigation

(Labrador City, NL), May 14, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) have made an arrest in connection with an internet luring investigation.

On Friday, May 10th, 2019, members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested a 42 year old man from Labrador West in connection with an investigation which began in April of 2018. The man has been charged in relation to internet luring and indecent communications.  The man has appeared in Provincial Court, where he was released on conditions to appear at a later date.

Due to a publication ban, no additional information will be released regarding the investigation.

The RNC are reminding parents to speak to their children about online safety, and to report any suspicious online activity.
