RNC Make Arrest Following Downtown Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), July 5, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male in connection with a disturbance in downtown St. John’s.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, at approximately 8:20 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a business located on Harvey Road in St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a male believed to be involved in the event.

As a result of an investigation following police response, a 45-year-old male form St. John’s has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and breach of court order. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
