RNC Make Arrest Following Downtown Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), July 8, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male in connection with a disturbance in downtown St. John’s.

On Thursday, July 7, 2022, at approximately 11:30 am, RNC OPS responded to a report a disturbance outside a business located on Water Street in St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a male causing a disturbance in the area.

As a result of an investigation following police response, a 24-year-old male has been charged with indecent exposure, causing a disturbance and breach of court order. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
