RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), February 3, 2022– The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) made an arrest following a disturbance in St. John’s yesterday evening.

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at approximately 7:30 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a male outside the home who was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

The 34-year-old male was arrested without incident in connection with the warrant for his arrest on charges of assault, property damage, and failure to comply with a court order stemming from an event which occurred on January 17, 2022. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
