RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), May 12, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services arrested two individuals in relation to a disturbance in east end St. John’s yesterday.

On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at approximately 6:30 am, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to the east end of St. John’s in relation to a report of an ongoing disturbance. On arrival, officers located a male and female who were believed to be involved in an altercation.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 59-year-old male and 44-year-old female, both from St. John’s, were charged with assault. Both individuals were released from custody to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
