RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in Metro

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), November 16, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male following a disturbance in the south end of the capital city.

On Monday, November 15, 2021, at approximately 11:30 pm, members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at an apartment building on Bay Bulls Road in St. John’s. On arrival, officers located the individuals involved in the event inside an apartment.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 30-year-old male from St. John’s was placed under arrest and charged with failure to comply with court orders. In addition, officers executed two arrest warrants in effect for the male. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
