RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in Capital City

(St. John’s, NL), November 13, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest following response to a disturbance in St. John’s last night.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, at approximately 8:25 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the west end of St. John’s. Officers on scene believed that an assault had occurred inside the home. The alleged victim, a female, sustained minor physical injuries.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 49-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
