RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), December 18, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest following a disturbance in St. John’s on Sunday.

On Sunday (Dec 17) at approximately 10:25 a.m., RNC patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a business in the center-city area of St. John’s. Responding officers located a male on site who had been assaulted by another male. The suspect male was located nearby and placed under arrest.

As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old male from St. John’s was charged with assault, uttering threats, and failure to comply with court orders. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
