RNC Make Arrest After Theft In Corner Brook

(Corner Brook, NL), October 20, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a theft at a Corner Brook grocery store resulting in the arrest of a female.

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at around 2:30 pm, The RNC OPS responded to a report of a theft in progress at a grocery store on Murphy Square in Corner Brook. Responding officers were informed that a female suspect had left the area on foot travelling toward Lewin Parkway. The female was located a short time later by the officers.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 40-year-old female from Corner Brook was charged with theft and failure to comply with a court order. The accused was released on conditions to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
