RNC Make Arrest After St. John’s Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), August 16, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a man in connection with a disturbance at a hotel on Friday.

On Friday, August 13, 2021, at approximately 7:30 pm, The RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in St. John’s city center. On arrival to the hotel, responding officers located a woman who had visible injuries.

As a result of an investigation, a 32-year-old man from Sheshatshiu was arrested and charged with assault and breach of court order. The man was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
