RNC Make Arrest After Report Of Uttering Threats

(St. John’s, NL), August 27, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a man yesterday after receiving a report of uttering threats in the downtown area of St. John’s.

On Thursday, August 26, 2021, at approximately 4:45 pm, The RNC OPS responded to a report of uttering threats in the downtown area of the capital city. A short time after arriving in the area, responding officers located a man in the area who was identified as the suspect.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 27-year-old man from St. John’s was arrested and charged with uttering threats and breaching a court order. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
