(St. John’s, NL), May 17, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) arrested a wanted person in St. John’s last night.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division (OPS) responded to a residence in center-city St. John’s in relation to a request for police assistance. On arrival, officers located a male in the home, determining an a warrant was in effect for his arrest.

As a result of the police response, a 59-year-old male from St. John’s was taken in to custody in connection with an arrest warrant. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
