RNC Make Arrest After Disturbance in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), November 1, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services made an arrest following a disturbance in S. John’s over the weekend.

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, at approximately 10:55 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a female at the home with visible injuries.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 29-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
