RNC Make Arrest After Disturbance in Metro

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), October 29, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male at a hospital in St. John’s following a disturbance.

On Friday, October 29, 2021, at approximately 5:00 am, officers with RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a hospital in the capital city. On arrival, responding officers observed property damage resulting from the event, and located the suspect in the area.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 41-year-old male from Shearstown was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance, property damage and obstruction of justice. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
