RNC make an Arrest following Break and Enter in St. John’s East End

(St. John’s, NL), January 18, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) make an arrest following a Break and Enter in St. John’s.

On January 17, 2023, at about 10:50 a.m. RNC OPS responded to a request for assistance in the area of Quidi Vidi Rd, St. John’s, following a report of a man damaging property and attempting to gain entry into a home.

The male suspect was reported to have left in a grey Nissan Altima, prior to police arrival.

Responding officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle in question.  As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old male has been charged with break and enter, property damage, and causing a disturbance; he was held to appear in court.

No injuries were reported and the individuals were known to each other.
