RNC Lay Charges in Relation to Graffiti

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) – April 20, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged two youth in relation to property damage.

On April 19, 2023, at 9:30 p.m., RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a report of property damage that had just occurred in the downtown district of St. John’s. Officers responded and located two suspects at an adjacent property. As a result of the investigation a 17 year old male and a 16 year old female have been charged with one count of mischief. The mischief is in relation to property damage by way of graffiti. The accused were released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
