RNC Lay Charges After Disturbance in West End

(St. John’s, NL), November 1, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services arrested a male following a disturbance in the west end of St. John’s on Sunday morning.

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at approximately 3:30 am, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a disturbance in progress in the west end of St. John’s. Responding officers located the individuals involved at a residence in the area.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 20-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged assault, property damage and failure to comply with court order. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
