RNC Labrador West Region Arrest Female for Assault

(LABRADOR WEST, NL) – July 5, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Labrador West Region have arrested and charged a female youth in relation to an assault.

On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at approximately 5:53 p.m. officers with RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a residence on Humber Avenue in Labrador City after receiving information that a male had been injured. It was reported that an adult male had been assaulted by a female youth; the accused and victim are known to each other. The male victim attended Labrador West Health Center for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at approximately 6:18 p.m. a 17 year old female resident of Labrador City was arrested and charged with Assault. The female youth was released from custody and will in Provincial Court at a later date.
