(CORNER BROOK, NL) September 28, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook is issuing an advisory regarding a lost piece of police equipment.

 On September 28, 2017, between 12:00 am and 6:00 am, an RNC officer, during the execution of their duties, lost a loaded magazine for their duty sidearm.

 Officers from RNC Patrol Services Division and Police Dog Services, along with assistance from members of the Bay of Islands Search and Rescue, have actively searched for this item since it was discovered missing. The RNC has concerns for this lost item and is advising anyone who may locate the magazine to contact the RNC immediately.
