(St. John’s, NL), October 7, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) issued tickets and seized a vehicle after a traffic stop in St. John’s last night.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at approximately 10:45 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) conducted a traffic safety stop near Kenna’s Hill in St. John’s. Officers determined that the vehicle was not registered and was being operated without an insurance policy.

As a result of the investigation in to the event, a male from Torbay was issued summary offence tickets in relation to the Highway Traffic Act infractions, and his vehicle was impounded from the scene.
